Disaster Relief

Wherever possible JBF (INDIA) is providing aid in the form of volunteers, food for animals and veterinary support services for animals of Disaster affected areas because JBF believe animals in these areas suffer and feel pain. As disaster comes animals are often displaced or abandoned affected areas, suffer terrible injuries, diseases, hunger and dehydration. There is also conflict for food between animals and people. As village people totally depend on their animals to cultivate land for food, transport, health, source of income & culture. We believe that our help in saving the animals in disaster situations benefits the people and help minimizing the impact of disasters on poor people making them to be self sufficient. Helping animal means helping people and failing to do so can make the things worst.
